Francija ob 10. obletnici Pariškega sporazuma napoveduje načrt za zmanjšanje emisij

[Compiled by European Times, December 12] On the tenth anniversary of the signing of the Paris Agreement, France released the third edition of its National Low Carbon Strategy (SNBC 3) on December 12, aiming to halve its carbon dioxide emissions from 1990 levels by 2030.

According to a report in the French newspaper Les Echos, specifically, France's carbon dioxide equivalent emissions in 1990 were 545 million tons (MtCO2), and the plan is to reduce them to 265 million tons between 2029 and 2033, and to 192 million tons between 2034 and 2038. In other words, to achieve the 2030 target, emissions must decrease by an average of 5% annually between 2024 and 2030.
